Anchors is a band born and bred in the Midwest... Specifically Indiana… More specifically northwest Indiana. Close enough to taste the city life of Chicago, but far enough away to feel the weight of the consistent boredom the Midwest has to offer. What you do with that boredom is what defines you here. We decided to make music -- the kind of music that we would want to listen to.

\\Tiberius//Tiberius are Eric Ledbetter (guitar/vox), Jonathan Kruit (drums) and Adam Harsha (bass/vox). Having known and played in a handful of NWI bands with each other for years, their paths ultimately converged again in 2015, when they sought to…

\\Tiberius//
Tiberius are Eric Ledbetter (guitar/vox), Jonathan Kruit (drums) and Adam Harsha (bass/vox). Having known and played in a handful of NWI bands with each other for years, their paths ultimately converged again in 2015, when they sought to carve out their lashing new sound, one that would also feature elements of the familiar origins of heavy metal. Thus, Tiberius was born, NWI’s all original, groove infused and melody driven metal trio.

Their blistering live performances aim to celebrate and accentuate the gathering of friends, lovers of live music, beer drinkers and hell raisers alike. Moreover, their songs are a reflection of who they are; great friends with a love of melodic heavy music that must be played loud.

Their first album Tiberius I was released in 2016 and is available here:

“We have always been a band about relationships...we realize that relationships are what ultimately shape you into who you are.”

Oceans Over Airplanes is a group that is not specifically from the fields of the Midwest, the bustle of the city or the repetition of the sprawling suburbs. They are a group of musicians from Northwest Indiana that have found each other over time. OOA focus on telling stories about Midwest living, creating what they call Heartfelt Post- Emo Rock.   The band is releasing a new Single "Colour" in June 2018.  OOA once again teamed up to work with friend and producer Seth Henderson (Real Friends, Knucklepuck, Sleep On It) to create their newest song which continues to further develop the sounds created during their last EP "Traditions".  The band continues to center on creating music that they credit being a direct reflection of their closest relationships and surrounding environment.

Music is all about chemistry, and chemistry is all about bonds. When musicians share the unique bond of life-long friendships, the results are quite spectacular. This is the case of The Burst and Bloom, 4 kids from Chicago. This is their brand …

Music is all about chemistry, and chemistry is all about bonds. When musicians share the unique bond of life-long friendships, the results are quite spectacular.

This is the case of The Burst and Bloom, 4 kids from Chicago. This is their brand new adventure in the world of music: the group is proudly in charge of writing, producing and recording their own material and their vision is simple: making the best music they can possibly make, approaching each song with integrity and with the goal of crafting something truly excellent for themselves and their listeners.

The Corey Dennison Band LIVE

Join us on Friday Dec 8th as we welcome back The Corey Dennison Band to our Hammond Brewpub! We've had them rock the house before and they never fail to impress! They will be pumping out the blues from 7-10 PM NO COVER!!!
-----
Formed in 2013, The Corey Dennison Band has become a favorite attraction at Chicago blues venues, including twice-weekly appearances at Kingston Mines. Led by Corey Dennison’s soulful voice and muscular guitar, the band released its self-titled studio debut for the legendary Delmark Records in 2016 after honing 13 original songs night after night on the bandstand. Corey’s decade-long stint with Carl Weathersby and Gerry Hundt’s tenure with Nick Moss are evident on the disc but blend effortlessly into a dynamic new Chicago sound, anchored by Aaron Whittier and drummer Joel Baer. Critics and radio polls responded favorably as the album garnered glowing reviews and constant worldwide airplay, netting chart positions on the Roots Music and Living Blues Radio Reports. Nominations followed suit, with a nod for Best Emerging Artist from the Blues Music Awards, a pair from Blues Blast Magazine, and Grammy balloting. Late 2017, further momentum accrued with their second Delmark release, Night After Night, complete with original material and select covers. The strength of the band’s repertoire is matched only by the charisma of the stage show; it’s not uncommon to see Corey belting out the blues, unamplified, in the heart of the audience while the band steps in time to the groove. It’s not novelty for these musicians and entertainers, however, it’s exactly where they want to be.

In 2013, the guys started up to relieve the stress of college while they both pursued degrees in their 30's at UIC. The main goal of the band is to play and write as much as adult life allows.
